Shahrdari Tabriz (Basketball Team of Tabriz Municipality) crowned champions in Iran as they edged Mahram Tehran 85:73 in the decisive 5th game.
They grabbed a27-16 lead at the end of the first period and led 14 points at the halftime.
Mahram Tehran was too far to give up and came back with a massive 27-11 burst in the third quarter; While Shahrdari Tabriz posted a 20-11 run in the last round to seal the victory.
The Iranian Basketball Super League (IBSL) is a professional men’s basketball league in Iran. Founded in 1998, it is widely regarded as one of the best leagues in Asia.
The manager of the basketball team of Tabriz Municipality has referred to the beautiful and spectacular playing of his players against the Mehran team and said:” This victory was the right of my team players , because they made a lot of effort and get their result of their efforts.”
