The second international symposium of Khojaly genocide and regional security was held with the participation of Dr. Karim Asghari as the representative of South Azerbaijan at the University of Giresun- Turkey.
According to Gunaz Tv (the official media of South Azerbaijan), The second international symposium of Khojaly genocide and regional security was held at Giresun University on 26-27th of Feb 2018.
Many professors and participants were attended from different countries and regions such as Japan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Syria, Iran, Turkey, Cyprus, Azerbaijan (North and South) and Russia in the International Symposium.
This international symposium was held on the occasion of the twenty-sixth anniversary of the Azerbaijani Turk’s genocide in Khojaly region by Armenians and Armenian extremist groups.
Dr. Karim Asghari (Ph.D. Student in the international relations field and regional affairs expert) has Commemorated the memory of the martyrs of Khojaly’s massacre and gave speech related to the Iran’s regional policy in the South Caucasus region as well as Iran’s policy towards the border issue between Turkey and Armenia.
