The US issued a free internet license for Iranians

The Foreign Assets Control Office at the Treasury of the United States Authorized companies to provide free internet for Iranian on Tuesday.

In a statement issued in this regard, The Iranian Regime tries to restrict access to satellite services, block access to social networks and impose other Internet restrictions to Prevent the free communication of Iranian citizens with the outside world and with each other.

Mr. Steven Mnuchin, the US Treasury Secretary said: “if Iranian people want, of course, Us capable to provide Internet access for Iranian freely.”

The United States is committed to empowering Iranians to communicate with the world.

The Iranian regime is responsible for its actions, Mr.Steven Mnuchin added.

According to the report, the Treasury Department of America offers  two general licenses regarding the use of the Internet  for the Iranian.

The Treasury Department of America allows for company to  Provide some hardware, software and services related to the exchange of personal communications via the Internet, such as instant messengers, chat and email, software services, social networks, as well as special programs for mobile platforms, anti-censorship tools, anti-tracing software and other devices.

The ministry also emphasized that the Iranian people are seeking to use their universal rights to freedom of expression and access to information through the Internet, therefore,we will help them according to the provisions of the directive.
