Araz Amani  an 11 Years Old and many South Azerbaijan National Activists Arrested by Regime Security Forces 

Tabriz, South Azerbaijan, Oct 26

Araz Amani, an 11-year-old South Azerbaijan national activist, the son of well-known activist Gholamreza Amani was arrested by Iranian regime intelligence forces Over the tomb of his father on Wednesday 24 October 2018.

Mohammad Kamrani, Sajjad Afroozian, Araz and Amir Amani, Saadallah Sassani, Nasim Sadeghi, Reza Zarei and Hakimeh Ahmadi among the detainees and Ramin Jabraili, and Rahim Tari have been prosecuted by regime forces.

The arrest of Araz Amani, a young child, was one of the controversial detainees that heavily influenced the political community of South Azerbaijan. 

Eleven-year-old Araz, along with his cousin, was arrested and interrogated by Iranian regime security forces on 24th of Oct.

Many South Azerbaijan Social media users have reacted to this type of child arrest and have commented that”Regime is feared even South Azerbaijan children”.

The uprising of South  Azerbaijani activists have intensified in recent months and have witnessed the culmination of such arrests on issues such as cultural, sports and political gatherings.
