Tabriz, South Azerbaijan, Aug 27
A group of South Azerbaijan National activists in Tabriz celebrated the memory of South Azerbaijani folk music master Hassan Damirchi on 24th of Aug 2018.
National activists from all parts of South Azerbaijan, along with Mr. Hassan Damirchi’s family, commemorated the memory of this prominent Azerbaijani leader on Friday 24th of Aug.
This ceremony was held by the Association of “Azerbaijan Ocagi civil society” in Tabriz.
The activities of the Azerbaijani Association of Civil Society are in line with the “Development and Preservation of South Azerbaijan Identity“.
During the ceremony, part of the Works and valuable activities of Mr. Hassan Damirchi the master of South Azerbaijani folk music and South Azerbaijan National activist was shown.
Also, participants commemorated the memory of this great pioneer with South Azerbaijan musical performances.
Mr. Hassan Damirchi known as Hassan Agha Azerbaijan was born in 1941 in Tabriz city. He had a special place among South Azerbaijan people for his valuable services. He was a poet, writer, and musician and spent most of his time for developing Azerbaijan folk music. He passed away in the morning 23rd of June 2018.
