Tabriz, South Azerbaijan, June 25
Five South Azerbaijan national and civil rights activists who were visiting Tabriz to attend the funeral procession of Hassan Damirchi (Hassan Agha Azerbaijan) were arrested along the way of Tehran-Tabriz.
According to GAMAC quoted from Gunaz Tv (the official media of South Azerbaijan), at least five South Azerbaijan national and civil rights activists have been arrested on the route of Tehran-Tabriz on 25th of June 2018.
The names of the detainees are:
1. Mr.Hasan Rashedi
2. Akbar Azad
3- Behnam Sheikhi
4- Khadijeh Hazhiri (known as Turan)
5. Ms. Khadijeh Hazhiri ‘s husband
Until now, no precise information has yet been reported on the precise location of these activists. Further news will be announced later.
