An impressive animation of a young South Azerbaijani from Urmia about the drying of Lake Urmia was welcomed by Azerbaijani users on social networks.
In the silence and neglect of Iranian authorities, South Azerbaijani youth have tried to familiarize public opinion with the disastrous consequences of Lake Urmia in different ways.
According to the GAMAC from Gunaz Tv (the official media of South Azerbaijan), Mahdi Khaqan Gharebagh, a young South Azerbaijani from Urmia city created an animation with the name of “I am the lake of Urmia/ please save me” were welcomed by South Azerbaijani users in social networks.
In this short animation, the process of drying the Lake Urmia and its catastrophic consequences have been exhibited.
