Thousands of South Azerbaijan people and fan of TRACTOR SAZI TABRIZ have subjected to the racist decision of Iranian federation against Mehdi Kiaani the Tractor Sazi football team‘s Captain on 29 Oct 2017.
A widespread wave of protests get organized on social media, especially on Instagram pages with the hash tag of “I AM MEHDI KIANI “(#من_یک_مهدی_کیانی_هستم) .
Also, Mr. Nader Gazipour the representative of Uremia‘s people showed his support for Mehdi Kiaani.
Mr. Nader Gazipour stated that we will not sit-down and see the cruel deprivation of the football federation against one of the best Azerbaijani soccer players “Mehdi Kiaani”.
Mr. Gazipour has written an objection letter to the Iranian football federation in order to accelerate cancellation of deprivation of the national player.
The Iranian Football Federation has tried to defeat South Azerbaijan football teams especially “Tractor Sazi Tabriz” by various excuses.
The story of the deprivation of the Mr. Mehdi Kiaani started with broadcasting of a popular video program with a name of “90”.
Many South Azerbaijani has shown their support from Mehdi Kiaani and they have written on their Instagram page:
Did not know that there is a limitation on Turkish people in Iran?
Why you said in “90” program, I am a Turk?
We wish that being Turkish would stay between us.
We wish you had known there have been heavily investing to eliminate this name.
We wish you had known there are some who are afraid of this word.
When you are saying “I am a Turk”, seismic falls on him.
TRAXTUR awakens the identity of “I am a Turk”.
Their costs and their plans are affected.
And now they want to take the TRAXTUR from us.
Take our identity from us.
But they don’t know, this nation is a silent volcano that will burn everything in the fire when it’s switched on.
They wanted the children of Turk being Fars.
But they forgot our nation honors.
Long live Mehdi Kiaani.
Long live Azerbaijan.
