Nader Gazipour, the representative of the people of Urmia, Strongly criticized the persistence of discrimination against the Turks in Iran in the open session of Iran Islamic parliament on Wednesday 16th of May 2018.
Nader Gazipour, during the asking question from Iran’s Minister of Culture in the Iranian parliament, While criticizing the discrimination against the Turks in Iran, he said: “40 million Turks in Iran do not even have a national television and newspaper in their mother language.”
While a newspaper like”Hamshahri “which belongs to the Tehran municipality is distributed throughout the country, Ghazipour added.
Ghazipour reminded seriously “Ali Motahari”the deputy chairman of the Iranian parliament about the majority of the population who are Turk and failure observance about the rights of Turks people who lives in Iran geography.
According to the Gunaz Tv (the official media of South Azerbaijan), the question of Mr. Nader Gazipour from the Minister of Culture was about the lack of establishment of a Turkish language academy.
It should be noted that the Urmia representative‘s microphone has been cut off by Vice President Ali Motahari three times due to his legitimate protests.
