The head of the industry and trade organization of Ardabil province said: “The honey of Savalan region was recorded in global marketing. Fortunately, we could see result of the efforts and the process of globalization of Savalan’s products in international markets.”
Mr. Hamed Amoli added: “Global registration of Savalan’s honey can bring a brilliant future for exporting honey to the world and will help the economy of province in positive way.”
It should be highlighted that the quality of South Azerbaijan- Savalan’s honey is so high and unique which is used for medicinal purposes.
The product has been able to register globally as one of the top 10 strategic products of South Azerbaijan. Because this product is unique compared with the other honey production due to its natural and it is a proven fact.
Chief of Industrial Organization also said:” Global registration of Savalan’s honey will increase the value of other products of the Ardabil province that is a great bonus for us to solve existing obstacles of province.”
One of the most important advantages of this honey is the low sugar content which is less than 1% per hundred grams. This honey is suitable for diabetic’s people.
Unfortunately, the lack of a national government in the South Azerbaijan region causes that all honors in the field of science and culture and unique products like South Azerbaijan- Savalan’s honey plundered and registered with name of Iranian-Persian brands.
