General Director of the Cultural Heritage of Handicrafts and Tourism of West Azarbaijan province announced that the first conference on the development of rural and nomadic tourism held in Urmia.
Jalil Jabari said:” According to the assurances of the deputy chairman of the president and head of tourism development organization, More attention will be given to the development of rural and tribal tourism and many conferences related to this issue will be held at the amphitheater hall of the Cultural Heritage of the Urmia city.”
South Azerbaijan-Urmia city has many talents and potential in the tourism industry. The abilities of villagers and tribes in attracting tourists for introducing South Azerbaijani culture can be effective.
Jalil Jabari added that Fortunately, in recent years the Urmia tourism industry has gained a lot of audiences. We are trying to introduce the industry of the South Azerbaijan specially Urmia, due regard to the interest of tourists.
General Director of the Cultural Heritage of Handicrafts and Tourism of West Azarbaijan province stated that the creating sustainable employment and entrepreneurs, development of tourism projects in villages, development of Ecotourism trips, absorption facility to create employment, creation of tourism infrastructure in villages, empowerment of rural communities will be the main priority and the main goal of this meeting .
